I write articles daily. It does not matter if they are written for my main blog.
Or written anonymously to a product I'm promoting a pen name.
Or an article directory like this. Each day I pledge to create content and writing articles is the best strategy for creating content that is.
I'll tell you a secret that most "gurus" do not want you to know.
It is becoming increasingly difficult to make a living online full time. Many people who were tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars per year in 2009, are doing nothing.
PPC advertising has got more and more difficult. (Many ads, offers and sites are "blocked" from even being promoted through the words of the ad and PPC)
Affiliate marketing has become much more difficult too. (As the search engines, laws, and affiliate networks themselves have got a lot harder on affiliate content oriented)
And regardless of what social media "gurus" want you to believe ........ few people who are really making a living full time from Facebook, Twitter and social media marketing overall. (But if you know how to integrate it into your overall marketing model ..... it is a great advantage to be sure)
All that said, my business continues to grow. Many of my readers, friends and business clients also continue to grow as well.
Why?
Because we create content. Unique content. Compelling content. Controversial, the content of confrontation, comedy, and creative.
And more than "you" that you put there, the more people who identify with your message that you will achieve.
Let me share with you how best to make your first $ 1000 online. I do not care if you've never made a dime before, or have invested your savings on the "gurus" you have disappointed at every turn.
If you're willing to write articles like this, you can succeed.
Choose a topic you're passionate about.
Create content. (A bit like this)
Use this content to build a community. (Whether it's your blog, or better yet, a newsletter list you can send information that will improve their lives)
Create (or find) a program or something to sell. Your best bet is an offer of coaching around what you love. (The topic you selected in step 1) If you are not yet ready to sell "you", you can certainly find affiliate products in a niche almost all under the sun that can be substituted instead.
Sell a department of 10 $ 100 coaching or consulting, you made $ 1000. (Remember, if you do not think you have a $ 100 value to offer, find a substitute that you can offer up what you do!).
